Elephants are magnificent creatures.
They are a symbol of strength. They confidently stride across the plains aware of their power.
The herd is lead by a female elephant and they have a strong sense of family. Each female looks after each other's calves and they protect each other at all costs.
They have been observed mourning and are known to perform a death ritual.
They bond, they communicate, they show affection, they care. When on the move, calves will hold onto their mother's tails to keep up while other females surround them to protect them from danger.

Elephunky is an elephant lover whose goal is to visit The Elephant Nature Park in Thailand to spend a week with these beautiful creatures, feeding, bathing and watching them as they play.
